Answer:- To concentrate on studies, I would give company to my sister/brother during studies. I will create awareness about the drawbacks of wasting study time in the games on cell phone, I will encourage her/him to involve in actual games on the ground. I will keep the cell phone away from her/him.

A4. Poetic Device.
‘I hear the bright bee hum.’   
(Write with explanation two figures of speech used in this sentence)
Answer:- 
Two figures of speech:-
1) Alliteration: The sound of letters 'b' and 'h' are repeated.
2) Onomatopoeia:- The word 'hum' expresses sound.

The poet encourages her brother in the second part of the poem by telling him about the brighter side of life. Make a list of the expressions in the poem that mean encouragement.

A2. Analysis.
Explain the line: “Never mind the faded forest, Austin"
Answer:- The forest is described as faded means it becomes faint or dim. In such atmosphere the poetess suggests her brother never to take wrong path as there are bright ways which he would get in the coming future. He should neglect the present atmosphere and wait for the good atmosphere to develop his career.

A3. Personal Response.
Give your opinion about the poetess.
Answer:- From the poem, I learn that the poet is a loving and kind sister. She is concerned for her brother who is in trouble and alone. She wants to encourage him giving hope. She desires to give her brother her moral support and the bright path to go ahead.

A4. Poetic Device.
Name and explain the figures of speech used in the following lines.

Answer:-

Alliteration: Sound of letter 'f’ is repeated.

Given below is a poem 'Blue Sky' by Mark Hastings. Imagine a poem of a similar kind replacing the word blue. You can add any colour or object of your choice and write a poem of four lines.

Answer:- When the poet refers to 'Another sky’ and ‘Another sunshine', the reader could understand it as the reference of another world. She uses these references to encourage her brother who is depressed and alone. She gives him the hope of the new bright and happy world.
A3. Personal Response.
Describe your sister in four sentences.
Answer:- My sister is really very kind. She always cares me. She helps me in my study. She is concerned about my progress. She encourages me to be ready to face the new challenges. I like my sister very much.

Answer:
1) Theme: It is the encouragement of the poetess to her brother who is depressed.
2) Language: Simple, lucid and illustrative with effective use of figures of speech.
3) Special features: Love and care of a sister to her brother. Optimistic end.
4) Message of the poem:- Life is full of challenges. One can tackle the challenges with a positive attitude.
5) Title: The title of poem itself is a metaphor. Here poetess indicates that there is new world with a bunch of promising expectations. The depressed person should look for it.
6) Tone of the poem: Poem has an encouraging, inspiring, hopeful, suggestive and warm tone. Things are explained using simple examples. The poem has a touch of letter. It realizes us about a love and affection between poetess and her brother
7) Gist of the poem: Poetess Emily suggests Austin that there is another sky means a world. It is bright and calm. He should not worry about adverse conditions of his life. He should remain optimistic and find the way to lead a happy and colourful life
8) My opinion about the poem: I consider this is one of the best poems written by Emily Dickenson. It gives a new outlook to deal with the agonies or adverse conditions of life. Poem is enriched with a lot of suggestions and new ideas which help us to overcome the depressed conditions. It is a need of today's time
