Q. Imagine that you are a compere of a 'Prize Distribution Ceremony’ of your college. Write a script of the same. Use the following points:

Ans:                                   Compering script for ‘Prize Distribution Ceremony’
1. Introduction:

         Good morning to one and all present here. We are gathered here for the annual prize distribution ceremony. The guests have arrived here. Let’s welcome them with a thunder of applause.

2. Lighting the lamp:

          I call upon the honourable chief guest Mr. Aditya Chavan, Block education office, the Principal of our college Mr. Shekhar Deshmukh, the vice Principal Mrs. Sadhana Nikam madam and the Supervisor M. N. Shitole to light the lamp and garland the photos of Goddess Saraswati. I request all the dignitaries to take their respective seats on the stage. Thank you all.

3. Welcome song:

         Now I request Miss Sunita Bacchhav and her team to recite the welcome song. All the girls are from Std. XII B. Thanks to all the girls for their rhythmic and musical recitation.

4. Introductory speech:

          Now I would request to Vice Principal Mrs. Sadhana Nikam madam to deliver the introductory speech and tell the intention of this function. Thank you madam for apprising us with achievement of our college. Thanks Madam

5. Felicitation:

          Welcome of all guests. I request honourable Principal Mr. Shekhar Deshmukh to welcome the chief guest honourable Mr. Aditya Chavan, Block education officer, with bouquet and book, also felicitate with shawl and coconut. I urge the vice Principal Sadhana Nikam to welcome The Principal by offering bouquet. Thank you. I request the college representative to welcome the Vice Principal.

6. Main event:
         Now the Prize Time.

         1. I request the honourable chief guest to confer the award of sports. I call upon Manoj Patil and team to receive the trophy for Basketball. Pratibha Marathe and team for Kabbadi. Ramesh Ghuge and team for volley ball.

      2. I request honourable principal to confer award for cultural events and academic events. I call upon Seema and team to accept the trophy for group dance. Prashant Chavan for Individual dance.

       Now I request to give a huge applause for Miss Anita Patil. She is the student of the year!

7. Chief Guest's speech:

         Now the moment comes to which we are eagerly waiting. I request honourable chief guest Mr. Aditya Chavan to guide us with his mesmerizing speech. Thank you sir for your valuable guidance.

8. Vote of thanks:

       I call upon Vikas Desale to propose vote of thanks. Thanks to all for giving your presence for the occasion.

1. Introduction

          Good morning to one and all present here. We are gathered here for the ‘Teachers’ Day Celebration’. The guests have arrived here. Let's welcome them with a thunder of applause.

2. Lighting the lamp and welcome song

            I call upon the honourable chief guest, the Principal of our college Mr. C. B. Pawar, the Vice Principal S. D. Patil and the Supervisor Mrs. P. L. Ahire Madam to light the lamp and garland the photos of Goddess Saraswati. I request all the dignitaries to take their respective seats on the stage. Thank you all. Now I request Miss Tanaya Chavan and her team to recite the welcome song. All the girls are from std. XI C.

           Thanks to all the girls for this rhythmic and musical recitation.

3. Welcome speech and Felicitation

          Now I would request to Miss Chaitali Jadhav, the C.R. of our college, to deliver the introductory speech and tell the intention of this function. Thank you Chaitali for expressing gratitude towards all the respected teachers. Now l request the members of students council to come one by one and felicitate the Principal, vice-principal, supervisor and all the teachers with bouquet and trophy of gratitude. The design of the trophy is made by our artist friend Prashant Chavan from Std. XIl (B) arts faculty. Give him a round of applause.

4. Main events and vote of thanks

           Today is the birth anniversary of our former President Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. He was a teacher too. So on this day we have to remember him. I would like to call upon Mr. Anil Wadekar from Std. XI (B) to deliver a speech on the life and work of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. Thanks Anil for this informative speech. Now I call upon the stage Miss Monali Pate from Std. XI (A) to recite her poem- ‘Teacher’. It is appropriate for this occasion. Thanks Monali. Your poem is really inspiring. Today in all the classes selected students work as teachers. All of them are honoured by our principal, vice-principal and supervisor. I request all the dignitaries to honour them one by one with trophy and certificate of excellence. Thanks to all. Now I call the member of student council Mr. Rakesh Ahire to express the vote of thanks.
