Guidelines for
framing interview questions
1. Use simple and acceptable language while framing interview
questions.2. For wh-questions use the construction:
Wh-Word + Auxiliary verb + Sub. + Main verb + Remaining words.
5. For Rhetorical questions use the construction: Auxiliary verb + Sub. + Remaining words.
4. Questions should be relevant to the topic.
5. Some questions should be assisted with statements to make it more convincing.
6. Questions must be clear and grammatically correct.
7. The questions must be based on the given points or hints.
8. The questions should not repeat same answers.
9. It should contain introductory question, content questions, probing questions and closing
question.
10. The initial few questions (2 to 3) should be about past events and in past tense.

tense. The ending questions should be about future plans, actions or message for
audience/people/generation.
